Good Shepherd actively supports organizations that seek to free people from the consequences of addiction. We have contact with local chapters of Alcoholics Anonymous, Al Anon, Narcotics Anonymous, and Overeaters Anonymous. We also maintain contact with other behavioral addiction groups. Good Shepherd provides meeting rooms for many of these organizations at a nominal cost to facilitate their work.
If you are think that participation in such an organization might be something benefit you, please call (304) 428-1525 and ask for the Rector (the Episcopal name for the minister). If the adminstrative assistant answers the phone, tell her the matter is of a personal nature. You may leave first name only, if you prefer, and a callback number if she is not available. She will contact you to help put you in touch with the proper organization, and the entire process will be strictly confidential.
