Good Shepherd is a member of the Wood County Food Co-op. We have a Food Pantry at our church that can help if you meet the requirements established by the Wood County Food Co-op. Basically, you must live within our service area, be able to supply proof that you do live there, and not have received food from any food bank within the last month. Nearly any utility bill that has your home address is sufficient proof of address. We know you don't know our service area, but we do know it. Please contact us so we can help determine if you live within our service area. If we find that you do not, we can direct you to the agency that does serve your address.
If you are eligible for service from Good Shepherd, you should know the Food Pantry is operated by an all volunteer staff. They are available for food pick up by appointment only. You will be given a time to pick up food when we can have a volunteer available. If you see that you will not be able to keep an appointment please call the office at (304) 428-1525 and press option 10 so we can let our volunteers know they will not be needed.
If you want assistance, please call the church office at (304) 428-1525 and press option 3 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, or stop by the office during those hours. There may be times when no one is present who can help, but leave a call back number and we will get back to you, normally within an hour or two. We will be pleased to work with you to help you get the assistance you need.
