OUR ACOLYTES

Acolyte - A term specifically applied to one who carries a torch or a candle, cross, flag, or banner in processions and can be called upon to assist at other times during the liturgy.

Acolytes are an integral part of the worship service, especially here at the Memorial Church of the Good Shepherd. Beginning as young as eight years of age our children are given the opportunity to take an active role in the worship service by serving on the altar. There are four levels of responsibility as an acolyte at Good Shepherd, these include:

bullet

bullet

Frances and Claire – at least one year as Senior Peterkin acolyte and have been confirmed.
