Good Shepherd Sunday School Kickoff Picnic - Sept 13

Our annual SS picnic, complete with water slide, hotdogs, ice pops and good fun and fellowship will be held on Sunday September 13th at 11:30 am on the west lawn at church. A signup sheet will be posted outside the church office for food items you'ld like to bring. So help us celebrate another exciting year of Sunday School for all ages.

Sunday School at Good Shepherd is for everyone 3 years of age to 103. We use "Living the Good News" - a lectionary-based curriculum, a faith formation resource and content driven from Bible Scripture. Age appropriate classes are: Preschool, Primary, Intermediate, Middle School, High School and Adult. Sunday School follows the 10 a.m. service from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15p.m. each Sunday.

Our goals are to: 1) Promote understanding and appreciation of the Holy Scriptures, 2) Bring families together in Christ through a common focus on the "Good News", 3) Help persons of all ages grow in their ability to respond to the Living Word of God in faith and love, and 4) Make prayer and Scripture the foundation of every learning experience.

We are blessed with a committed and caring group of teachers and wonderful children. Through their efforts we provide a quality Christian Education program.

Everyone is invited!

Sunday School has always been a principal focus of Good Shepherd ever since the church was founded.  It continues today.
